SAT Prep Class Connecticut, SAT Preparation Classes East Lyme, East Haddam, Essex Connecticut CT

The test is very difficult yet very coachable.

We have spent thousands of hours working with students and developing efficient methods to help them to succeed on the test.

We teach the test through the eyes of Jimmy and Jane, the two test makers who have made up all of the math and verbal questions on the test.

Once students see how Jimmy and Jane think they know how to quickly find the right answers; so much of this test hinges on knowing the test.

Jane, who makes up the verbal questions, doesn't like gerunds in the middle of her sentences and when it comes to the critical reading portion of the exam, three out of the five answer choices have little to do with the text. In short, Jane is terrible when it comes to wrong answers, if you know what to look for.

Jimmy, in many ways, is nastier than Jane. Forty percent of the math questions on the test are not taught in math class, and to succeed on the test it's essential that students not do math as they do in math class. Jimmy would love it if they did the math as they do in school, because the clock would run out on them before they finished the test.

We offer a 30-hour prep course that costs $665. This course spends 15 hours on the math portion of the exam, and 15 hours on verbal portion of the exam. The course spans five weeks, and inclusive in the price are the following books: The College Board's Official SAT Study Guide, Hot Words for the SAT, & College Planning Partnerships' SAT Guide.
