Round Up the Neighborhood Gang

This option works particularly well for groups of students who had limited time to meet or live too far away from our office in Clinton. We will try to arrange a class to meet on specific dates and times at your house, or even online.

If class times at our office do not work for you and you can organize a group of six students, we’ll hold a class at your home for the same price. The beauty of organizing an SAT class at your house is that we arrange it around the dates and times that suit your group. We can also organize to meet online so your entire group could meet without having to drive to your house. (Call us if you like for a 15 minute demonstration of how it would work online and we’ll show you how it works.)

We can either re-create our traditional five-week, thirty-hour class that meets twice a week, or design a class to accommodate your needs. One recent group decided to meet only once a week for four hours instead of twice a week for six hours. We can tailor the classes so they work for your group. Furthermore, if members of the group aren’t sure which test to take, we can discuss administering the SAT/ACT diagnostic, which will teach them the differences and help them make the right choice. Some of the biggest advantages to home classes are that students tend to have similar skill levels, which allows us to move faster than we often can. Students don’t lose time traveling to class and they are likely to call one of their classmates if a homework questions arises.

Benefits:

Students can create a class around the times that best suit them. We travel to your house rather than you driving to our office. Students who take our in-home classes often study together during the week. Students are often more comfortable asking questions in class because they know everyone in the class. Quite often in a class at our office or at a school students will refrain from asking a question because they don’t want to call attention to themselves.
