We offer private one-on-one tutorials. The advantage to a private tutorial is that the tutor watches the student’s every move, and it doesn’t take long to spot what needs coaching. The tutor gets to know the student quickly and creates a specific study program for him or her. A great first step is to have the student take The SAT/ACT Diagnostic to determine which test he or she is best suited for. Homework is issued based on the student’s needs and capabilities. Students in this setting tend to be more candid about the material that eludes them. We find that private tutorials often work best for students who are highly competent and aiming to crack 700 or for students who have gaps in their skill-sets and who have a history of scoring low on standardized tests. More and more students are taking our complete SAT or ACT courses and then supporting specific areas with one-on-one tutoring. There’s no getting around the value of prepping for the SAT or the ACT. Once students recognize what they’re looking at and know what to do, their scores go up.

There is no minimum number of individual sessions a student must sign up for. Our philosophy is to get each and every student prepped in as little time as possible. Our group classes generally meet for ten sessions, we can recreate our course for students on the individual level as well. Below are our general suggestions.

  the cost per student is $64/hr. (A 20% Savings)

  the cost per student is $56/hr. (A 30% Savings)
