Private Tutoring & Information

Private tutoring is available in your home or at a mutually convenient location within Albuquerque. Travel arrangements can be made within the metro area. Special arrangements can be made for longer distance travel. We've had success meeting in private meeting rooms at certain public libraries, including:

  • Erna Fergusson
  • Main
  • Tony Hillerman
  • Cherry Hills
  • Zimmerman Library on the UNM Campus

Meeting times can be after school, evenings or weekends, designed around the student's schedule. Sessions generally last 90 minutes and are tailored to the individual student's needs.

Meet Emily Harris-Martinez

A native of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Emily attended Sandia Preparatory School and went on to Macalester College. Emily received a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in sociology and an emphasis in women’s studies, graduating magna cum laude. Upon graduation, Emily re-located to Arizona where she earned her master’s degree in social work. Emily worked in child welfare with at-risk children and families in Arizona until her return to Albuquerque four years ago. When not tutoring or caring for her two young children, Emily enjoys reading, sewing, the outdoors and finding grammatical errors.
