Breaking Barriers in Physics Physics has a reputation for being one of the most intimidating classes students take in high school, but it doesn't have to be. At All Girls' Prep, we believe that confidence is built through preparation, and a strong start can change the way a student experiences an entire course. This two-week program meets three times each week. During the first week, students build the foundational skills and prerequisite knowledge that make physics click. In the second week, we'll preview the concepts they'll encounter in the first unit of their high school class, so the material feels familiar before they ever step into the classroom. The course is taught by Megan Fitzwater, who holds a degree in Astrophysics and is passionate about helping girls discover the beauty of the subject. Her goal is to help girls walk into their physics class feeling interested in the subject and confident in their ability to succeed. |
